Honor, the European brand under which Huawei distributes some of its most affordable smartphones, has announced that today, April 8, users will have significant discounts on the price of two smartphones: the Honor 6 and Honor Holly. The Honor Holly can be purchased for a price of 100 euros (compared to 120 euros it costs now), while the Honor 6 can be purchased for 260 euros (compared to 300 euros it costs now). The promotion applies to Spain, United Kingdom,Germany, France, Holland and Italy.
This promotion applies to Honor Holly and Honor 6 distributed through Amazon. But, at least at the moment, the Spanish version of this store has not yet updated the prices of both smartphones, while in other countries (Italy, for example) it is already possible to buy both phones with the discount included. This promotion is displayed automatically when accessing the file of one of these two mobiles, and it is not necessary to enter any promotional code. Of course, the offer will only be valid for today, April 8; afterwards, both terminals will return to their original prices.
Despite the fact that the Honor Holly and the Honor 6 are two smartphones that incorporate different features, they both share the same philosophy: to offer the best possible quality / price ratio, for which the Honor brand was created. Leaving aside personal opinions on the price of both phones, it is interesting to note that the most simple of the two, the Honor Holly is formed by a screen five inches with 1,280 x 720 pixel resolution, a processor MediaTek of four cores, 1 GigaByte of RAM,16 gigabytes of internal memory (expandable via card microSD up to 32 gigabytes), a main camera of eight megapixels with flash LED, a battery with 2,000 mAh and Android 4.4.2 KitKat (with interface EMUI 2.3).
The Honor 6 is a mobile more complete, and its features include a display of five inches with 1,920 x 1,080 pixels resolution, a processor HISILICON Kirin 920 of eight cores, 3 gigabytes of RAM, 16 gigabytes of expandable internal memory, main camera 13 megapixel with LED flash, a battery reaches 3,100 mAh capacity and Android 4.4.2 KitKat (with EMUI 3.0).
Apart from this promotion, it is also interesting to remember Huawei's recently leaked update schedule. If the dates that appear on it are true, the Honor 6 will begin to update to one of the most recent versions of Lollipop (Android 5.0, Android 5.0.1 or Android 5.0.2 Lollipop, still to be confirmed) from the month of June while Honor Holly is not mentioned on the calendar.
