The CES fair that takes place this week in Las Vegas is being the perfect showcase for brands that want to present their new terminals for 2016, especially for Honor, the brand created by the Chinese Huawei for Europe. And it is that it has jumped into the pond and presented its first terminal for the United States, the Honor 5X. Now, just a couple of days after its official presentation, we already know that it will also arrive in Spain.
This is confirmed by an invitation that Honor is sending to the Spanish media, citing us for the official presentation on February 4. An expected event after showing the device in the United States, but which had not been confirmed for Europe until now.
The terminal in question is the Honor 5X, which follows the line and style of this new brand, looking for the generation of millennials or digital natives, to whom it offers a quality device, with updated features, but with an affordable price. In this case, an input terminal but with metallic finishes and a fingerprint sensor, as well as enough power to move applications and games of the moment without problem
The model that will arrive in America from the end of January, which will probably repeat a technical sheet for Europe, has an eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor capable of moving at a speed of 1.5 Ghz. It is accompanied by 2 GB of RAM memory to provide fluidity to applications, and a storage capacity of 16 GB. Of course, this memory is expandable thanks to the confirmed slot for microSD cards, which shares space with the MicroSIM card slot, in addition to having a slot for a NanoSIM card.
The terminal stands out for its photographic section, composed of a 13 megapixel main camera and f / 2.0 aperture, with a 28 mm wide-angle lens and anti-reflective coating; and a 5-megapixel front or selfie camera with an F / 2.4 focal aperture, a 22-millimeter lens and an 88-degree angle of view. Some specifications are more than enough to get quality pictures even in low light conditions, and to enjoy the screen LCD of 5.5 inches with a maximum resolution Full HD.
But the most interesting thing about this terminal is not only the power, but it also has interesting additions such as the fingerprint reader, with which not only to unlock the terminal personally, but also to make secure payments in the near future; or 4G connectivity. Complete the technical sheet a 3,000 mAh battery. All this in a metallic body (aluminum alloy) that Honor claims to have designed inspired by the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, and that is a quality addition to a mobile that, due to its performance, could well be considered high-end, but that its Price of $ 200 (about 180 euros) makes it very affordable.
At the moment we will have to wait a few weeks to know the details of its arrival in Europe and Spain, although little changes are expected in its technical sheet.
