Honor 5c, price and characteristics of this mid-range mobile

The Honor 5C has officially arrived in Europe. The device, which was announced last April, lands on the Spanish market at a price of only 200 euros, quite affordable if we take into account its characteristics. The new model boasts a metallic design, a 5.2-inch IPS LCD screen with Full HD resolution, an eight-core Kirin 650 processor and a 13-megapixel main camera. This new mid-range will be available in three colors: gold, silver and gray. We review some of its main characteristics.

In an increasingly competitive market, Huawei's sub-brand continues to struggle to gain a foothold. Its new proposal, which has just landed in Europe, is called Honor 5C and is ready to rival the mid-range of the sector. The Honor 5C is one of those phones that enter through the eyes. It is covered with a rather stylish and thin metallic chassis. Its exact measurements are 147.1 x 73.8 x 8.3 mm and its weight 156 grams. On the back, we also find a fingerprint reader, which will allow us to make payments and increase security. The Honor 5C has a 5.2-inch IPS LCD screen with resolutionFull HD, which does not position it within the phablet sector.

Inside this terminal there is room for a Kirin 650 processor, with eight cores inside and compatible with 64-bit architecture. This chip is accompanied by 2 GB of RAM, which will allow us to work with several simultaneous processes or access the vast majority of applications on Google Play without problems. Regarding the internal storage capacity, the new model has 16 GB, expandable through the use of MicroSD- type cards of up to 128 GB. Anyway, you already know that, in case you run out of space, you can always use a Dropbox- type cloud storage service.

It is in the photographic section where we realize that we are above all a mid-range. The Honor 5C has a 13-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel front camera, both with a BSI sensor and f / 2.0 aperture. For its part, the phone has the following connectivity options: LTE Cat6 2G and 3G, WiFi, GPS, GLONASS and Beidu, and has the ability to support two different SIM cards, for example one for work and one for personal use.

We don't expect to have too much of a problem with the battery. The Honor 5C equips a 3,000 mAh, so it is perfectly capable of giving autonomy for a whole day. In any case, it is also governed by Android 6.0 running under the EMUI 4.1 layer . This means that you can also make use of the new Doze function, which, as you know, has been designed to further extend the autonomy. As we say, the Honor 5C is already on sale at a price of 200 euros. It is available in gold, silver and gray, three very different colors that will suit each type of user.
