The Honor 20 family has been on the market for a while. The Honor 20 Lite, Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro can be bought in Spain at a very interesting price, but the Chinese company does not find three models enough. Honor will soon announce the Honor 20S, another variant that will join the mid-range catalog. In addition, it could come with Android 10 as standard. We already know the release date.
A promotional poster has been seen on Weibo, the Chinese social network. In the image we can see the announcement of the Honor 20S, a new variant that will be located between the Honor 20 and the Honor 20 Pro. The image reveals the launch for next September 4, in China. A strange date considering that the IFA in Berlin begins on the 6th. However, the company could announce this smartphone globally at the most important technology fair in Europe. The poster also reveals an image of the Honor 20S with a design very similar to the rest of the family's terminals; glass back with triple or quad camera, LED flash and Honor logo. The reader can be on the side or integrated into the screen.
Honor 20S, possible features
This model was seen a few days ago on the official Android page, where some of the technical characteristics were revealed. The most interesting is that it will come with Android 10 Q as standard. The final version will be released on the 3rd of speitmebre, a day before Honor announces this device. While EMUI is not yet in beta, the 20S could launch later with a final version. Beyond the Android version, the terminal will have a 6-inch screen. It will also have a RAM of 8 GB, as well as 128 or 256 GB of internal storage. There are no details of the processor, but it could mount a Kirin 810, or the Kirin 890 that the Huawei P30 uses.
