Honor, the company owned by Huawei, is presenting its new flagship for 2019 right now. We refer to the Honor 20 and the Honor 20 Pro. We have already talked about the first a few minutes ago in the article that we have just linked. Now it is the turn of the 20 Pro, the alternative to the Huawei P30 Pro that presents a series of characteristics very similar to those of its counterpart, such as the cameras and the processor. Will it be enough to proclaim itself as the alternative to the Huawei P30 Pro and the OnePlus 7 Pro? We see it.

Design that inherits from the Honor View 20 with on-screen fingerprint sensor
The design of the Honor 20 Pro, far from resembling that of the Huawei P30 Pro, inherits the main design lines of the Honor View 20. With a body made of glass and aluminum and frames that reduce their dimensions thanks to the hole in the screen that integrates the camera lead.
Regarding the characteristics of the screen, the 20 Pro integrates a 6.26-inch AMOLED panel with Full HD + resolution and up to 412 pixels per inch. The novelty regarding the View 20 comes from the hand of the fingerprint sensor, which in this case is integrated into one of the side frames. No fingerprint sensor on the screen.
For the rest, the device has a back very similar to that of Huawei's Pro model, with up to four cameras with four independent sensors that will act as macro, wide-angle and telephoto zoom.
Same heart as the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro
In the technical section we find few differences with respect to the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro.
In summary, the terminal has the same characteristics as the first, with a latest generation Kirin 980 processor compatible with GPU Turbo 3.0 along with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The latter, unfortunately, is not expandable via micro SD cards or NM Cards.
As for the rest of the features, the Honor 20 Pro consists of a 4,000 mAh battery with a fast charge of 22.5 W (50% in just 30 minutes), Bluetooth 5.0, NFC and WiFi with all available bands. Likewise, the high-end Honor has USB type C 3.1 and compatibility with external monitors to turn the mobile into a desktop computer.
Four cameras to conquer them all with 30x zoom
The main novelty of the Honor 20 Pro compared to the Honor View 20 and the Huawei P30 Pro has to do with the photographic section.
Specifically, the device of the Chinese firm is made up of four independent sensors made up of a resolution of 48, 16, 8 and 2 megapixels. While the first of them is based on the well-known Sony IMX586 with the modified aperture, the rest of the sensors are made up of 117º wide-angle, telephoto lenses of up to three optical magnification and thirty digital and 4-centimeter macro. The focal aperture of all of them that is set at an f / 1.4, f / 2.2. f / 2.4 and f / 2.4. It should be noted that the f / 1.4 aperture of the main sensor is the lowest seen to date on a smartphone.
As far as software news is concerned, the terminal has a night mode very similar to that of the Huawei P30 Pro that will use the Sony sensor to obtain the highest possible brightness. In addition, the Honor 20 Pro includes a slow motion mode of up to 960 FPS with HD quality.
And what about the front camera? Here the free novelties such a P30 are null, having the same 32 megapixel sensor and focal aperture f / 2.0.
Honor 20 Pro price and availability
The Honor 20 Pro will begin to be available from next July 2 for a price that starts from 599 euros in its only version with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. It will do it in three colors, white, purple and black.
