We already know firsthand the new Honor alternative to Huawei terminals, a presentation somewhat overshadowed, perhaps, by the latest events in relation to Trump's veto of any commercial relationship with the Chinese firm. We are talking about the new Honor 20 that will arrive in stores in two versions, a cheaper one that will simply be named Honor 20, and a more luxurious one called Honor 20 Pro. Design and display
This new flagship of the Honor brand is built in glass and its edges in aluminum, how could it be otherwise taking into account that it aspires to the high end of the catalog. Its screen is a 6.1-inch OLED panel and Full HD + resolution, and it will come with a side notch, as a hole, to house the front camera, thus ruling out the retractable camera. The fingerprint sensor does not appear on the back and we do not have it housed inside the screen, so it will be located on the side button.
High-end processor
Honor has not skimped on power for its new Honor 20, by providing it with the most advanced processor of its Kirin brand, model 980. It is built in 7 nanometers and will reach a clock speed of 2.6 GHz. It will be accompanied by two versions of memory RAM, 6 and 8 GB, in addition to three storage options 128 and 256, the latter reserved for the 8 GB of RAM option. This processor promises a high energy saving of 58% and a superior performance of 75%, in relation to previous Kirin models. All this with the addition of Artificial Intelligence technology, thanks to which the mobile will learn from our use.
Quadruple camera to take the best images
Photography enthusiasts will be able to have their new favorite 'toy' in the new Honor 20 and we are talking about no less than four sensors composed of:
- A main sensor manufactured by Sony, with 48 megapixels and 1.8.7 focal aperture
- A second wide-angle sensor
- A third sensor that would act as a macro
- Fourth depth sensor for portrait mode
The selfie camera, embedded in a notch inside the screen, would be 32 megapixels.
Connectivity, battery and operating system
To finish, add that we will have a 3,650 mAh battery with fast charge, Android 9 Pie and, among its main connections, LTE 4G, dual-band WiFi, NFC for mobile payments and an infrared port to use the mobile as a universal command.
Price and availability
