This year is undoubtedly the year of frameless displays. All the top brands already have their models without frames presented or on the market. However, this design has also reached the mid-range. Even some very cheap terminals. And precisely this last group includes the terminal that we want to talk about today. It's called the Homtom S9 Plus and, as its main attraction, it includes a 5.99-inch screen with virtually no frames. To this we have to add a double camera, a good amount of memory, a large battery and Android 7.0 Nougat. The Homtom S9 Plus will go on sale next October 23 on GearBest with a special price of $ 160, about 135 euros at the change.
Despite its tight price, the Homtom S9 Plus is not a mobile that goes unnoticed. On the one hand, the back case is made of a nano-material manufactured by the Mitsubishi Electronic company. It is not specified if it is metal or not, but it is a resistant material, resistant to breakage and scratches. It also offers a very bright and modern color.

But if its rear part attracts attention, much more does the front. The Homtom S9 Plus equips a 5.99-inch panel with HD + resolution. Specifically, it is a resolution of 1,440 x 720 pixels. The panel uses an 18: 9 form factor and is borderless on three of its four sides.
At the bottom it does have a small border, enough to place the start button. Under this button we have a fingerprint reader.
Inside the Homtom S9 Plus we have a MediaTek MT6750T processor with eight cores. To accompany this chip it includes 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The latter can be expanded by microSD card up to 128 GB.
The photographic section is handled by a dual camera system. Particularly as we have a main camera 16 megapixel sensor and a 5 megapixel. The camera comes with LED flash and autofocus system.
On the other hand, the Homtom S9 Plus includes a 13-megapixel front camera with f / 2.2 aperture. Very curious is the location of it. In Homtom they have decided to place the front camera in the lower left corner. The placement in this position is due to the almost total removal of the upper frame. It honestly doesn't seem too practical.
Lastly, the Homtom S9 Plus packs a hearty 4,050 milliamp battery. And to control all this hardware we will have Android 7.0 Nougat.
As we mentioned, the Homtom S9 Plus will have an original price of 180 dollars, about 150 euros. However, from October 23 it will be in presale on GearBest with a price of 160 dollars, about 135 euros at the change.
