During the day yesterday we saw how the supposed first real image of the OnePlus 7 was filtered. The image in question showed a totally different phone to what we knew so far. The reason for this is because the terminal is the OnePlus 7 Pro, a version of the homonymous model with better features and a design closer to the premium range than the high-end. Recent statements from Ishan Agarwal, a well-known technology leaker on Twitter, claim that we will see up to three different models of the OnePlus 7 next May.
There will be OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7 Pro 5G
This was stated by @ ishanagarwal24 on his official Twitter account at dawn today. Specifically, the brand will launch three new models that correspond to the OnePlus 7, the OnePlus 7 Pro and the OnePlus 7 Pro 5 G.
As we can read in Agarwal's tweet, there will be up to seven variants of the aforementioned OnePlus models, three of the OnePlus 7, another three of the OnePlus 7 Pro and one of the OnePlus 7 5G. The differences between these will be based on the memory configuration. And it is that unless the company denies it, all OnePlus phones will have the same processor and the same photographic section. The rest of aspects such as the screen, the fingerprint sensor and the design are expected to be different between the Pro model and the base version of the OnePlus 7. The 5G variant of the phone will be identical to the Pro model, according to the original source.
As for the technical characteristics of the three OnePlus devices, they are all expected to have the Snapdragon 855 processor. While the base model will integrate 6 and 8 GB of RAM and 128 and 256 GB of storage, the Pro and 5G versions could have with up to 10 and 12 GB of RAM and 256 and 512 GB of ROM respectively. Otherwise, all three variants are expected to feature a similar 6.67-inch screen size. In the case of the Pro model and the model with 5G, the screen will be accompanied by the traditional curves on the sides of the terminal.
For the rest, they are expected to have three rear cameras of 40, 16 and 8 megapixels with wide-angle and telephoto lenses. Although nothing is confirmed yet, it is very likely that the camera integrates a periscope lens for 10x zoom. We will have to wait for the official presentation to confirm it, although everything points to yes.
