The European company Haier has officially released the technical specifications of the HaierPhone E-ZY A6, a touch screen smartphone intended mainly for the elderly about which we learned some details after the IFA 2014 technology event that took place in the city of Berlin (Germany). The HaierPhone E-ZY A6 is a mobile that has been designed with the elderly in mind, as demonstrated by the fact that it incorporates an interface with large letters, numbers and iconsin order to facilitate its use for people with vision problems. This smartphone will be available in Spain from October for a starting price set at 120 euros, and while it arrives in Spanish territory we will know if its technical specifications correspond to the price that Haier has established for this terminal.
The information has been released on this occasion the company Haier has allowed us to know that the HaierPhone E-ZY A6 is a mobile that comes with a touch screen of four inches that reaches a type resolution WVGA, ie 800 x 480 pixels resolution. It is one of the simplest resolutions that we can find in the mobile phone market. Regarding the interface (that is, the design of the menus that we see on the screen), this phone integrates the Android operating system in its version of Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, and it is also complemented by an interface layer that incorporateslarge and clear icon designs. In general, the HaierPhone E-ZY A6 is a mobile compact and small, and so we witnessed their measures set out in the 130 x 65.5 x 11.8 mm.
If we take a look at the more technical data of the HaierPhone E-ZY A6 we will see that its internal storage capacity is set at 4 GigaBytes, while the RAM memory reaches 512 MegaBytes. This is very simple data that is only intended for daily use of the mobile, that is, a simple use (sending and receiving messages via WhatsApp, making and answering calls, etc.) in which much power is not required in the terminal. The battery capacity is set at 1,700 mAh, and the autonomy that we obtain with the mobile will depend on the use that we give it, so it is difficult to determine a specific number of hours of use that the HaierPhone E-ZY A6 offers.
Moreover, as additional details of the HaierPhone E-ZY A6 also include the presence of two chambers (a main camera with a sensor two megapixels accompanied by an LED flash and a front camera with a sensor VGA) connectivities WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and FM Radio, the emergency button and the charging base included with the mobile.
