A new Google Nexus S? That seems, at least, according to what has been seen on the Internet these days. We refer to a mysterious model that has been revealed as the GT-i9023. As you may already know, and if we don't tell you, the Nexus S is coded with the model name GT-i9020. And yet, in the video that has been leaked from BestBoyZ we see a Google Nexus S with the previous code and working, to make matters worse, with a version of Android that we already saw by mistake in the Sony Ericsson XPERIA Arc: Android 2.4.
From here, the alarms have gone off. It seems most likely that Samsung has developed a second model of the Google Nexus S. If we are more precise, we could talk about a third model, since at the time we told you that in certain countries, such as Russia, Google would distribute a version of the Google Nexus S with an LCD screen instead of Super AMOLED. However, and already set to curl the curl, we do not know if this GT-i9023 could be precisely that modified version (which, by the way, in principle we doubt a lot).
In any case, another point that arouses a lot of interest in the video posted by BestBoyZ is the presence of Android 2.4. As we have told you, the XPERIA Arc was the first to show it, although Sony Ericsson pointed out that it was an error, and that it really was 2.3 Gingerbread with a small misprint. In spite of everything, it is known that Android 2.4 will exist, and that it is planned as an update with improvements over Gingerbread, and not a new rung on the ladder of versions of Google's mobile operating system.
