Google Nexus S lands in Spain. The new Google mobile phone, which will be signed by Samsung, has already been in circulation for a couple of months in certain areas of the world, but now its price and rates for national territory have already been confirmed. As in other countries, it will be Vodafone that will distribute this long-awaited intelligent touch mobile, oriented to the Internet and multimedia applications, from April.
Finally the Google Nexus S can be obtained at a price of zero euros. To obtain it, it will be necessary to subscribe to the operator's @L rate, whose fee is 59 euros per month. This plan for calls and Internet access includes unlimited Internet browsing, although the speed is reduced to 128 kbps if 500 MegaBytes of data traffic are exceeded. The contract requires a minimum stay of 18 months.
The expectation aroused by the Google Nexus S has a lot to do with the enormous success of the Samsung Galaxy S, the star terminal of the Korean company on which this model is based. Along with its large (four-inch) touchscreen, the phone comes with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, the latest version of Google's mobile system. They are two of the key factors of its appeal, along with a five megapixel camera or 16 gigabytes of capacity for multimedia files.
Obviously, it is also a model prepared to navigate through mobile broadband. It allows you to browse the web using the high-speed 3G network (HSDPA). Or also through Wi-Fi networks, when there is one within reach and access available. We can visit pages, check e-mail and interact with social networks. It also has a GPS navigator, whose operation is integrated with the Google Maps tool.
