It seems that the ice cream that Google wants to invite us to this winter will run from the Korean Samsung. Behind this conundrum lies one of the bombings of the rumor mill to close this month of June: Samsung Nexus could repeat the saga. This is what they say from Boy Genius Report, where they already advanced some data about the Nexus 3, and now they expand the information with new data that, without being official, they assure from that website that they come from the bowels of Googleplex (the headquarters of the search engine company).
Not only are the BGR guys surprised with the fact that Samsung will re-develop the new generation of Google's mobile (theirs is already the Nexus S), but they also venture to give a name as the strongest candidate to label the next terminal series: Google Nexus Prime. Curious name, by the way, if we consider that it refers to a concept very close to that of the first device in the saga, the Google Nexus One.
Another interesting piece of information about the Google Nexus 3 or Google Nexus Prime is the screen. We had already tested the option that it was a panel with 720p resolution (HDReady), but also, according to the sources used by BGR, it would also equip the next generation of Samsung's black leg displays, which we will know as Super AMOLED HD. Presumably these panels reissue the excellent levels of brightness, contrast and color saturation of the Super AMOLED Plus of the Samsung Galaxy S II with powerful screen definition.
On the other hand, from the website responsible for the information, they also point out that the Google Nexus Prime will not have customization options for the platform it will install (Android 2.4 Ice Cream Sandwich) for the benefit of the operators that market it. In this way, the Nexus Prime will offer a boot interface and a button environment free of logos and specific functions of the companies that sell it.
