Many of the leaks are based on official images, renders created by users and real images that appear 'mysteriously' on the network. On many occasions, design leaks are also thanks to their covers. Accessory manufacturers need to know the design and dimensions of the terminal to be able to apply the case and sometimes this happens: a leak reveals the possible design of the Motorola Moto P40 and Moto Z4 Play thanks to their covers.
The images have been seen through SlashLeaks (and 2nd source) and it so happens that the leaked cases are transparent, revealing the design of both devices. Without a doubt, the most interesting is the Motorola Moto P40. Everything indicates that it will be the first mobile of the company to include a screen with hardly any frames and with a camera directly on the screen, as the Samsung Galaxy A8s or Huawei Nova 4 already has. double camera and a fingerprint reader, which will be located directly on the company logo. It looks like it will also feature a headphone jack and USB C input.
Moto Z4 Play with on-screen fingerprint reader
On the other hand, the design of the Motorola Moto Z4 Play does not go unnoticed either. The images show a full screen again, with hardly any frames. Of course, it does not have a camera on the screen, it has a notch in the upper area, where only the camera is housed . The back of this device is very similar to that of other versions of the Moto Z family: a rounded camera in the upper area and pins in the lower area, which will be used to connect the different modules. In this case, it seems that the fingerprint reader will be located directly on the screen. It will also have a headphone jack and USB C port.
Its specifications and price are unknown, but we could see it this year, perhaps during the 2019 Mobile World Congress, to be held in Barcelona at the end of February. We are likely to see more leaks ahead of its presentation.
