Samsung's A-range is going to be renewed from top to bottom after several years on the market. Various are the leaks that confirm the existence of models such as the Samsung Galaxy A40, A50, A60 and A90, in addition to the Galaxy A30. This time it is the Samsung Galaxy A20 that is filtered thanks to a new benchmark on the well-known Geekbench website. It does so with a series of characteristics oriented to the low range and essentially identical to those of the aforementioned A30. This makes us think that both devices will belong to the same line of mobiles with similar prices. Possibly around 100 euros.
Samsung Galaxy A20: Exynos 7885 processor and 3 GB of RAM for the cheapest Samsung mobile
A few minutes ago, what looks like a benchmark of the Samsung Galaxy A20 was leaked, which corresponds to the Samsung serial number SM-A205FN. The performance test reflects results practically traced to those that we saw yesterday with the Samsung Galaxy A30.
In short, the company's Galaxy A20 will come with an Exynos 7885 eight-core processor and 3GB of RAM. Unlike the A30, this will come with 1 GB less RAM compared to the 4 GB that the aforementioned terminal had. This, added to the lower frequency of the processor (1.59 vs 1.35 GHz) make the final result of the test save a difference of just over 200 points in single-core tasks and just over 700 points in multi-core tasks.
Translated into Spanish, it means that we will find a lower performance both when handling various applications and playing games with 3D graphics. Another detail that most attracts the attention of the benchmark is that the Samsung Galaxy A20 will come with the latest version of Android on the market, Android 9 Pie under Samsung Experience 10.
As for the rest of the characteristics, nothing is known about the terminal at the moment. What is certain is that together with the Galaxy A30, both terminals will belong to a new series of cheap mid-range phones. Aspects such as the price or the date of departure of the same are a mystery, however, taking into account the number of leaks and rumors in recent days, it is not ruled out that February is the month chosen to launch both devices. The prices that we value in Tuexperto start from 109 and 129 euros respectively for the cheapest versions with less RAM and storage. We will have to wait for new leaks or the official announcement by the brand to confirm all these details.
