The Huawei Mate 30 will be launched in a few months. The Chinese company has planned a renewal of the Mate 20 family, which will arrive with more powerful specifications, a new processor and a camera configuration similar to that of the Huawei P30 Pro. Little by little we are learning more details about this device, which it is expected to arrive with Android 10 Q under its arm. We are already beginning to see the first details about its design.
The back of the Huawei Mate 30 has been leaked, thus confirming some aspects of the design of this device. We do not really see its rear design, but the glass case that the device will incorporate. What is most striking is the camera, which will have a rounded shape. It is the first time that we see something like this in Huawei terminals. Until now, Motorola terminals had dared with a rounded camera.
It is still too early to know if it will look good on the device, although the first renderings created from this leak leave mixed feelings. On the one hand, the terminal has a very striking design and the rounded camera convinces. Personally, it reminds me of the classic digital camera. However, the telephoto sensor, which is more square in shape, could spoil the design line a bit. We will have to wait for future leaks to confirm this design.
No fingerprint reader on the back
The back also features the Huawei logo at the bottom, as well as the Leica logo at the top. You can also see a curvature on both sides, something that the Huawei Mate 30 already had. We do not see the hole for the fingerprint reader, so we assume that it will be on the screen.
The Huawei Mate 30 will be accompanied by several versions. On the one hand, a cheaper Mate 30 Lite. Also a Pro version, with much more powerful specifications. Finally, a version with 5G is expected that could be announced later.
