The Chinese company Huawei is determined to try to conquer the high-end of the mobile phone market. During this year we have attended the launches of two flagships of this manufacturer, the Huawei Ascend P7 and the Huawei Ascend Mate7, and everything indicates that during the next year 2015 we will receive the arrival of a new high-end mobile belonging to the category Ascend. In fact, a leaked photograph has revealed part of the appearance of this new smartphone, which seems to correspond to a new Huawei Ascend P8.
The new Huawei Ascend P8, as measured by rumors, incorporate a screen 5.2 inches to achieve a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels with a pixel density of display set in the 424 ppi (current Ascend P7 incorporates a screen five inches with 1,920 x 1,080 pixels resolution and 441 ppi). In addition, rumors indicate that the sides of the screen of this new mobile of the Ascend range will be slightly curved, as it happens with the screens of the new iPhone 6 andiPhone 6 Plus.
But beyond the screen, what is really characteristic of the Huawei Ascend P8 would reside in its design, since the rumors - made known by the Asian website MyDrivers - indicate that the housing of the new Ascend P8 will be made of metal (on the sides) and with some type of ceramic material (in the back case).
The characteristics of the Huawei Ascend P8 are still not clear enough to discuss final technical specifications, but everything seems to indicate that the processor housed inside this corresponds to a mobile HISILICON Kirin 930 of eight cores. The capacity of the RAM memory, taking into account the progress expected for next year in the mobile telephony market, will be around a figure of between 3 and 4 GigaBytes.
In the event that the extra-official information about the Huawei Ascend P8 is correct, it is most likely that the official presentation of this smartphone will not wait beyond the first months of next year 2015. If we had to choose a specific date, the technological event of the Mobile World Congress 2015 (Barcelona, between the months of February and March) would be the date that we would mark on the calendar for the presentation of the Huawei Ascend P8.
On the other hand and in addition to the Huawei Ascend P8, Huawei is also working on another phone that will probably be presented at the beginning of next year 2015: the Huawei Glory 6X. In this case we speak of a mobile mainly oriented the Asian market, and according to leaks will be a terminal incorporating a screen of 5.5 inches, a processor of eight cores, a memory RAM of 3 gigabytes, an internal memory of 32 gigabytes and, most curious of all, a main double-camera on which we will learn more information in the coming weeks.
