A week and a half ago the deployment of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean began for the Samsung Galaxy S4. The turn of the units distributed in our country has not yet come, but the global process has already begun. A few days before the starting gun was fired, the update ROM was exposed, and although it was not the final one, the differences were minimal compared to what is arriving through the OTA and Samsung Kies route to the flagship phone of the house. Well, if we take the chronology of events until the process of deployment of the system improvements began, we could think that the arrival of Android 4.3 is also imminent for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2.
The tablet phone that the South Korean company presented last year already has at its disposal what today is the most recent version of Google's operating system for smartphones "" at least, pending the official presentation of Android 4.4 KitKat, something which will take place this week ””. As we have learned through SamMobile, the ROM that will serve as the basis for the official update is now available for download.
Those users who do not have problems or qualms about getting their hands on the computer because they may be impatient, can download all the necessary material to see how the third installment of Jelly Bean looks on the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. However, as we always recommend in these cases, the intervention is subject to the responsibility of the user, and it is highly recommended to make a backup copy of all the content of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 before proceeding with the system surgery.
As we say, there is still no concrete data to help us put the Android 4.3 update date for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 on the calendar. However, from Samsung they already announced that the process would take place in November, and judging by this cited indication, we could come to think that in one or two weeks the first teams would begin to launch the notification that warns of the availability of the new version of the system. At least, it would reach those terminals that have automated the alert that would jump as soon as a package of improvements is detected in the Samsung repositories. If we are not very clear if this is our case, it is enough for us to go, from the system settings menu, to the section on "Software update", within which we will find a box that, when checked, will schedule periodic readings in search of updates.
Once the official package of improvements with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean is ready, we could download and install the update in two ways. On the one hand, we would have the so-called OTA ( over the air ) system, which allows us to carry out the process autonomously from the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 itself. The other option takes us to Samsung Kies, the home desktop application that acts as an assistant during the entire task from the computer.
