At the beginning of this month of August, the Expansys online store placed the first mobile with the MeeGo icon system in its digital catalog. Exactly, it was Nokia N9. At the moment, it was already known that the launch of this advanced mobile would only be reserved for some markets and Spain was not among them.
However, with the Expansys pre-reservation in Spain, users could opt for the 16 and 64 GigaBytes model; although the sale price had not been communicated at the moment. But another jug of cold water has fallen for the most enthusiastic: Expansys Spain has withdrawn the Nokia N9 from pre-reservation and it no longer appears in the virtual catalog.
Thus, the most recent terminals that Expansys offers at the moment are two mobiles that already include Symbian Anna of origin such as: Nokia E6 or Nokia X7. The next advanced mobiles that should appear in the online store will be the terminals with Symbian Belle. In this way, it is once again ratified that the Spanish market will not receive the Nokia N9 mobile with MeeGo and will focus on the arrival of the first mobile with Windows Phone Mango.
Therefore, Nokia N9 will continue on its way in its release. And the market that will be closest to the Spanish will be Portugal or, for example, resort to stores like Amazon where you can reserve for a price at the current exchange rate of 350 euros. A more than interesting price considering that current advanced mobiles in the Euro Zone usually exceed 400 euros.
