Table of contents:
The Samsung Galaxy S10 + has already passed through the DxOmark test table. The well-known website that analyzes the cameras of mobile devices has already been able to thoroughly test the new Korean terminal. In what position will the triple camera of the S10 + have been? Will it have surpassed the so far king of photography, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro? We anticipate that the Samsung terminal has achieved 109 points. In what position do you place it? Let's find out.
But first, let's remember the photographic set that the Samsung Galaxy S10 + has. So we give it a little excitement. As we already know, Samsung's new top of the range opts for a triple sensor on its back. On the one hand we have a 12 megapixel main sensor with 1.4 µm pixels. It features a variable aperture f / 1.5 - f / 2.4, Dual Pixel focusing system and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS).
The second sensor is an ultra wide angle with 16 megapixels of resolution and 1.0 µm pixels. This sensor has an f / 2.4 aperture. A telephoto lens with 12 megapixel resolution and 1.0 µm pixels completes the set. This sensor offers an aperture of f / 2.4, PDAF focusing system and optical stabilization (OIS).
On the front we have a double camera system. The main sensor has a 10 megapixel resolution and 1.22 µm pixels. It offers an f / 1.9 aperture and Dual Pixel autofocus system. This is accompanied by a second depth sensor with 8 megapixels, 1.12 μm pixels and f / 2.2 aperture.
And now that we have remembered the hardware included in the Samsung Galaxy S10 +, let's see how it has performed in the DxOmark tests.
At the top of the ranking
The Samsung Galaxy S10 +, with 109 points, shares the lead with the Huawei Mate 20 Pro and the Huawei P20 Pro. All three terminals have obtained the same score in DxOmark. Here you have the classification:
The average of 109 points obtained by the Samsung Galaxy S10 + is divided into 114 points for photography and 97 points for video. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro achieved exactly the same score in both sections.
After these three terminals tied to points we have the Xiaomi Mi 9, a mobile that has also just been presented. And be careful, because it gets only 2 points less and is worth half that of the rest of premium mobiles. It is followed by the iPhone Xs Max.
But where the Samsung Galaxy S10 + shines the most is in the front camera, a new category that has begun to include the DxOmark website. Here the Mate 20 Pro scored 75 points, compared to 72 for the P20 Pro. However, the double system of the S10 + scores no less than 96 points, thus clearly beating the other two terminals. Actually, the only one that comes close, of those analyzed, is the Note 9, also from Samsung.
