EMUI, the Android-based customization layer that is installed on all Huawei brand phones, reaches version 9.1 loaded with interesting news. The public beta version of said ROM will soon be available for a list of ten Huawei and Honor terminals. Do you want to know if yours will be compatible? Well, do not miss the list that we offer you below.

What's new in EMUI 9.1?
The evolutionary leap towards EMUI 9.1 has been, according to the manufacturer, one of the highest they have achieved, thanks to the modification of Android's own architecture to achieve more advanced performance. Currently, the file systems used in Android are EXT4 and F2FS. In EMUI 9.1, Huawei has decided to replace them with the EROFS (Extendable Read-Only File System) file system, thanks to which we will increase the speed of reading them by 20%. This translates into faster application openings than the current system, as well as significant savings in internal storage space of up to 2GB.
We also find news regarding the compilation of applications on the system. At present we use ART, a system thanks to which the applications compile the necessary information to run from the moment of installation on our mobile. Huawei has chosen to incorporate its own compiler system, open source, called ARK and thanks to which the fluidity of the system will be increased by 24%.
Another of the great novelties of EMUI 9.1 is that the terminals that have it incorporated will be able to connect better and more effectively to cars, for example, using the mobile as a key to open and close the car
In terms of design, Huawei has emphasized that the new EMUI 9.1 will offer a more minimalist design (if something has to be attributed to EMUI, it is that feeling of baroque that floods the configuration section). In addition, it will bring a new application with which Huawei users can exchange large files in a matter of very little time. For example, they say that thanks to Huawei Share 'One Touch' a 1 GB video can be shared in just over 30 seconds.
Thanks to the new EMUI we will have the possibility to measure, for example, furniture in our house thanks to augmented reality. That is, with the camera we will point to the furniture and it will tell us how much it measures.
