During the annual Google I / O 2019 developer conference, the company unveiled some of the new features of the next version of its mobile platform: Android Q 10 and also released the third beta version. Before the arrival of a stable version, it will go through three more betas, which means that the final version of Android Q 10 will begin to roll out during the third quarter of this year.
Huawei has been one of the first companies to officially announce the list of smartphones that will be able to update to the next version of Android Q 10. Specifically, the manufacturer has released a first batch of eight phones that will have their share of Q 10 once the update is available. Among them are the Huawei Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20 X, Mate 20 Porsche Edition, Huawei P30, P30 Pro, Honor V20, and Honor Magic 2.
For now, the company has only limited itself to unveiling the first models that will enjoy the new version, but has not given exact dates of the deployment. However, taking into account that the stable version of Android Q 10 will arrive during the third quarter of the year, it is normal that Huawei devices begin to receive the update last September and before the end of 2019.
Among the novelties of Android Q 10 we can highlight new improvements and functions. One of them is a new dark mode, which will allow us to save battery or better see certain apps according to what times and situations. We will also have access to Live Captions, a new feature to create subtitles in real time on any video we are watching. Likewise, it should be noted that smart responses will be available in all kinds of messaging apps. They will even suggest actions, such as writing down an address and sending it to Google Maps. Android Q 10 is also a safer, smarter, stable and faster system than its predecessor.
