The update to Android 9 Pie of Samsung mobiles is taking longer than normal. Today there are only a few models that have the latest version of the system: the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and the two versions of the Samsung Galaxy S9. Little was known about the rest of the telephones… At least until today. And it is that it has been this morning when Samsung has updated its roadmap of updates to Android 9.0 of all its confirmed models. In addition to adding new variants of phones that had already been added previously, Samsung has updated the update date of some of its main smartphones.
New dates for the update to Android 9 Pie of Samsung mobiles
This morning we woke up with several surprises from the hand of Samsung. A few hours ago the company published a new roadmap in the Samsung Experience application with new update dates to Android 9.0. Several have been the models that have advanced their update to the latest version of the operating system. Among them, we find some phones like the Samsung Galaxy J6, which advances the update one month (from May to February).

- Samsung Galaxy A7 2018: starting in March (previously in April)
- Samsung Galaxy A9 2018: Starting in March (previously April)
- Samsung Galaxy J6 and J6 + 2018: from April (before May)
Although there have been four in total the updated mobiles, it is expected that the company will add new models in the following weeks, although there is nothing confirmed at the moment. Be that as it may, what is a fact is that from Samsung they are putting the batteries with the update of their phones.

- Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2: from April
- Samsung Galaxy J8: from April
- Samsung Galaxy J7 Neo and Pro: from June
- Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo: from July
- Samsung Galaxy Tab S3: starting in August
- Samsung Galaxy A 2017: from September
- Samsung Galaxy A 2018: from October
