Sony is going to present the renewal of its mid-range that includes the new Sony Xperia 10 and its superior model the Sony Xperia 10 Plus. Both terminals will try to gain a foothold in the increasingly competitive mid-range sector, where Huawei, Samsung and Xioami share the cake. It is true that Sony terminals, today, do not have the presence in the market that they should. Last year, Sony distributed 14 and a half million terminals in stores. Today they do not even reach 10 million, a not very exciting figure for a brand of the importance of Sony.
With regard to the new Sony Xperia 10 and Sony Xperia 10 plus, thanks to a web leak, we already know their price in Europe. These new Sony mid-range will be sold at 350 euros and 430 euros, respectively. In this price range, the user can choose from a multitude of very interesting terminals, such as some of the brands mentioned above. Will Sony be able to trace sales of its mobile phone range?
Sony Xperia 10
This terminal will have a 6-inch screen and Full HD resolution. Its interior will house a Snapdragon 660 processor, the same processor that incorporates the new Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 or the Samsung Galaxy A6s. It is an eight-core processor with a maximum clock speed of 1.95 GHz accompanied by 3 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory. As for the photography section, we will have a 13 megapixel main sensor together with a 5 megapixel secondary sensor. The selfie camera would have 8 megapixels. Regarding the autonomy section, the Sony Xperia 10 will have a 2,870 mAh battery, something clearly scarce, taking into account the screen that has to move.
Sony Xperia 10 Plus
One of the main differences of this Sony Xperia 10 Plus with respect to its younger brother is on the screen. Here we go up to 6.5 inches although with the same resolution and aspect ratio 21: 9. In this case we would have 4 GB of RAM and the same 64 GB of internal storage. Although the main sensor drops to 12 megapixels, the brand ensures that it will have higher quality. Its secondary sensor will be 8 megapixels. No information about the battery has emerged, but we hope it is superior to that of its younger brother.
