Three cameras are not enough for you? The latest mid-range models are starting to incorporate sensors with four lenses at the rear. The goal is to create a more versatile camera with different lenses, such as ultra wide angle or telephoto. As well as improving some of the photography modes with specific sensors, such as depth or macro. The new LG mobiles focused on the mid-range, come to the market with a quadruple main camera. So are the LG K61, K51S and K41S.
These terminals would have been presented at the Mobile World Congress in 2020. However, LG was one of the first companies to cancel its attendance due to the coronavirus outbreak. Although the South Korean company usually updates the K series with small improvements in the specifications, this year they have decided to make a much more aggressive change: renewed design, improvements in the camera and in the more panoramic screens.
LG K61: up to 48 megapixels
We start by talking about the most powerful, the LG K61. This mobile has a design very similar to the LG G8, especially on the back. It has the camera module in a horizontal position, and the fingerprint reader just below. The back is made of glass and is combined with aluminum frames. The front does change with respect to the G8, since it has a camera directly on the screen, located in the upper area. In addition to minimal frames.
The LG K61 is available in gray and white with a striped finish.
The camera on this K61 is the most important thing. It has a 48 megapixel main sensor. This lens will not shoot at such a high resolution, but it will have to be activated from its own mode in the camera app. With 48 megapixels we can take pictures with more clarity, especially in night scenes. The second camera is an 8 megapixel sensor. It is an ultra wide angle lens, which takes pictures at a greater angle to capture more information in the image. It is followed by a 5 megapixel depth of field camera and a 2 megapixel fourth sensor for macro photography. That is, capturing objects at a short distance to focus on detail.
As for the specifications, the K61 mounts a 6.5-inch screen with Full HD + resolution. It is a 19.5: 9 LCD panel. Inside we find an eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, as well as 4 GB of RAM. Two versions of internal memory are available: 64 or 128 GB. Lastly, the battery is 4,000 mAh and has a USB C connection. In addition, both the K61 and the K51S and 41S include Bluetooth version 5.0 and a button dedicated to the Google Assistant. In this way, every time we press the button, even if the screen is locked, Google Assistant will open and we can perform the commands we want.

LG K51S, a slightly fairer camera
LG K51S with red and dark gray finishes.
LG's K51S is very similar to the LG K61, but with more basic specs. It includes the same front and rear design, as well as all four sensors. Of course, with a different resolution. We went from having 48 megapixels to having a 32 megapixel main sensor. The second ultra-wide angle camera drops down to 5 megapixels. Finally, both the macro sensor and the depth of field sensor are 2 MP. Therefore, we will get the same configuration, but with a different quality.
The LG K51S has the same 6.5-inch screen, but with HD + resolution instead of Full HD +. The processor is eight-core and the RAM memory drops to 3 GB with a single version of 64 GB of internal storage. Of course, the 4,000 mAh battery is maintained. Taking into account that the panel is of lower quality, we can expect a greater autonomy in this model.

LG K41S, same specs as K51S, except camera
LG K41S: colors in gray and black.
And if you want a more discreet model, LG has also introduced the K41S. Same technical specifications as the K51S: 6.5 HD + screen, 4,000 mAh battery and octa-core processor with 3 GB of RAM. Of course, a single version of 32 GB of storage. And of course there are also camera changes. We went down from 32 megapixels to 13 megapixels on the main sensor. The ultra wide angle lens is 5 megapixels, and both the macro and depth of field sensors are 3 megapixels. The front camera is 8 MP and unlike the K51S and K61, this model has a drop-type notch in the upper area, in addition to slightly less used frames.

Price and availability
LG has announced these devices globally. Unfortunately, the price has not been confirmed in the different countries. We will have to wait for LG to confirm the arrival in Spain to find out how much they will cost. Most likely, none of these models exceed 400 euros. In addition, we do not know if all versions will arrive or only a certain model.
