September marks the beginning of the second part of the year at the level of presentations and device launches. The first to arrive is usually the Note, as we have seen this year with the Note 20, but then it is followed by the iPhone, the Mate models from Huawei and a long etcetera. Among them it seems that there will be the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 that, according to rumors, will be official in a maximum of a couple of months.
This follows from the recent approval by the Chinese State Radio Regulation Certification Authority (SRRC) of a Xiaomi mobile phone bearing the model number M2007J22C. Reliable sources assure that it is the future Redmi Note 10. If we add to this that two leaked images of the supposed phone have appeared on Weibo, everything seems to indicate that it will arrive sooner rather than later.
A powerful technical suite and 48 MP camera
As we said, on Weibo we have been able to see two images that could correspond to the Redmi Note 10. The authenticity of the photographs could not be confirmed, so this information must be taken with a grain of salt.
In one of the images we can see that the model number is M2007J22C, the same one that has appeared in the SRRC. The image also reveals that this device has a hole in the screen for the front camera, located in the upper left.
From the image we also take out that this new smartphone from the Chinese manufacturer uses a processor with eight cores and a frequency of 2.4 GHz. This is accompanied by no less than 8 GB of RAM. The operating system, of course, is Android 10 with the MIUI 12 customization layer.
This makes us wonder what processor it is. There were some rumors that claimed that it would be the new Dimensity 820 and Dimensity 720 that would drive the future Redmi Note 10 series. However, in the image we see a clock speed of 2.4 GHz, a data that does not coincide with that of the commented processors. However, it does match the Dimensity 800U chipset that was announced last month and the Snapdragon 765G. We will have to wait to confirm which processor is used by Xiaomi for its new terminals.
Finally, in the leaked images it has also been possible to see, with great difficulty, that the supposed Redmi Note 10 will have a photographic system with a round design, very similar to that seen in the POCO X3. In the image we can barely see that the main camera seems to be a 48 megapixel sensor. Two other lenses will complete the set, but at the moment we have no information about them.
All the data discussed here are just rumors, so we must take them as such. However, it doesn't seem like we'll have to wait long to confirm them.
