Charge your mobile in the time you finish breakfast? It is no longer a chimera. The Realme X2 Pro has been presented with great fanfare with a feature that stands out above all else. A fast charge of 50W, which promises to fully recharge the mobile in just 30 minutes. And not only that, this terminal is ready to enjoy 40% autonomy in just 10 minutes. This means that if one day you run out of battery and stop for a coffee, you will have time to charge it during that time to continue using it for several more minutes. The device also comes with a Snapdragon 855+ processor, up to 12 GB of RAM or a screen with a 90 Hz refresh rate. It will go on sale in November at a price of 400 euros.
The Realme X2 Pro is built in glass with a glossy finish back that does not go unnoticed. The front part barely has frames, although it is not missing or notch or notch in the form of a drop of water. In this rear part is the four-camera module arranged in a vertical position right in the center. We can say that it presents a clean appearance, with a slim and light design. Its exact measurements are 161 x 75.7 x 8.7 mm and its weight 199 grams.
Regarding the size of the screen, it has a 6.5-inch AMOLED type with a Full HD + resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 pixels. It supports a 90Hz refresh rate. The screens of most phones on the market normally operate with a 60Hz refresh rate. These new screens have up to a third more refreshment, which allows us to have a much smoother and faster experience, especially when viewing animations or scrolling. Of course, not everything is positive, since they use more battery, but in this case this point is not too much of a problem with the built-in fast charge. Additionally, the panel offers up to 1000nits of brightness and comes with support for the DCI-P3 color gamut. In addition, under the screen we find a capable fingerprint readerto unlock the device in just 0.23 seconds. According to Realme, the smartphone promises a screen-to-body ratio of 91.7 percent.
The first Realme flagship equips a 4,000 mAh battery with 50W fast charge. As we say, it takes just 10 minutes for the phone to get 40 percent power from scratch. In addition, it can be fully charged in 35 minutes and is compatible with other charging technologies, such as USB-PD and Qualcomm's 18W fast charge. This puts it ahead of other rival phones such as the Huawei Mate 30 Pro, which although it is a bit closer, it is true that there are still differences. The Mate 30 Pro includes a 4,500 mAh battery with 40W fast charging, so the charging time is extended by a few minutes.
Inside the Realme X2 Pro there is room for a Snapdragon 855+ processor, accompanied by 6, 8 or 12 GB of RAM and a storage of 64, 128 or 256 GB in UFS 3.0 format (not expandable). For heat dissipation, it has liquid cooling, multi-layer graphite foil and other materials that prevent the terminal from overheating, especially when playing heavy games for several hours.
At the photographic level, the Realme X2 Pro includes four cameras on its back formed by a first Samsung GW1 64-megapixel sensor with f / 1.8 aperture. This is accompanied in turn by a second 13-megapixel telephoto sensor with support for hybrid zoom of up to 20x, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with a 115-degree field of view and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The terminal offers camera functions such as super night scene mode, EIS, 4K video recording at 30 fps and slow motion video at 960 fps. Hidden in the front notch is an AI-controlled 16-megapixel sensor.
In terms of connectivity, the Realme X2 Pro arrives with all the usual features: dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, USB-C, dual-frequency GPS, NFC, and an audio jack from 3.5 mm. This model is also equipped with dual stereo speakers along with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio technologies, so a pretty good sound is expected when listening to music or watching movies or series.
Pricing and availability
The Realme X2 Pro will go on sale in Spain next November in several colors to choose from: gray, burgundy, blue or white. These are the prices according to version:
