Soon it will be among us. It is the Samsung Galaxy S8, a device that could be unveiled shortly. Forecasts indicate that the official launch would take place at the end of March, so that the launch of the first units worldwide would take place from April. Be that as it may and given the proximity of his arrival, rumors and leaks have not been asked. We have a large part of its specifications on the table and today, in addition, we have known an important detail: what will its price be. If these data are true, the Samsung Galaxy S8 could go on the market with a starting price a little higher than that of its predecessors. If theSamsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 edge went on sale for 700 and 800 euros, respectively, the Samsung Galaxy S8 could do it from 850 euros. These are, at least, the rumors that circulate and that have been spread by sources that do not usually make mistakes when offering this type of information. But what would the Samsung Galaxy S8 have to make it a bit more expensive?
In recent days we have detected that the Samsung Galaxy S8 could have a significant improvement. The basic device would be equipped with a 5.7-inch screen, leaving behind the 5.1 inches that its predecessor had. The Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus that would also arrive along with the original device, meanwhile, would have a screen of up to 6.2 inches and would probably be 100 euros more expensive than its brother. Hence, the price of this equipment can be around 950 euros, even being a little more expensive than the iPhone 7valid. With respect to the other features, it seems that the resolution of both screens would be located in 1,440 x 2,560 pixels and a crystal would be protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
Inside both teams, we would find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, equipped with an eight-core architecture, whose operation would be combined with an Adreno 540 graphics card (GPU). The main camera could enjoy a sensor 12 megapixels, while the secondary (located on the front), have 8 megapixels. Significant improvements are expected in the battery section and, of course, in the performance of such important parts as the screen, the processor or the camera.
It seems that at the Mobile World Congress 2017 in late February some journalists will have the opportunity to have the Samsung Galaxy S8 close by, but the presentation "to the world" would not take place until March. We will remain attentive to all the news that arise in this regard.
And you, would you buy a Samsung Galaxy S8 that cost more than 850 euros ?
