Have mobile manufacturers run out of ideas? Or is it that, despite the criticism, the famous notch is the future of design? Whatever the answer, the reality is that the notch on the screen is the main protagonist of this year. Another high-end mobile that seems to incorporate it is the LG G7. The Korean manufacturer decided not to present its flagship this year at MWC. However, sooner or later the terminal will hit the market. And, from the leaks that are appearing on the Internet, it seems that it will not take long. Today we receive new images of the terminal, published by the manufacturer of Olixar cases.
If the images do not deceive us, the LG G7 will follow the design line that we are seeing this year in many terminals. Namely, back in shiny glass and front with very little frame. Specifically, it will have a screen without a frame at the top and with a small black frame at the bottom. To place the front camera, the Koreans seem to resort to the famous notch. This appears to be somewhat larger than the one seen on the Huawei P20, so there may be some surprises in store.
The screen bezels seem somewhat narrower than those seen on the iPhone X, although they do not curve like on the Samsung Galaxy S9. The fingerprint reader will be located at the rear. It is placed just below the cameras, in the central area. Of course, the LG G7 will have a dual camera system.
Powerful processor and artificial intelligence
As for the screen, at the moment we do not have much data. Rumors point to two different models, one with an LCD screen and the other with an OLED screen.
Otherwise, it sure includes a powerful technical set. It is expected to include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. It is a processor with eight cores at a maximum of 2.9 GHz. It also has a module dedicated to artificial intelligence, so fashionable this year.
For now, we will have to wait for the official presentation to see what the LG G7 offers us. Everything indicates that we will not have to wait long.
