Neffos, the company owned by TP-Link, has just launched the Neffos A5, a 6-inch phone that claims to be the company's cheapest phone. In the words of the manufacturer, this model comes as "the ideal smartphone for young and old who buy their first phone." Outside of slogans, the terminal uses measured specifications to reduce its price to below 70 euros. Yes, you read that correctly, 70 euros.

6-inch screen and a youthful design
With a 6-inch diagonal and an IPS screen with HD + resolution, the Neffos A5 consists of a body made entirely of polycarbonate at a weight that does not exceed 190 grams. Its screen, by the way, has a maximum brightness level of 400 nits and a contrast level of 1,500: 1. It also has a slight curvature on the edges that gives it a better grip in the hand.
Perhaps the most remarkable thing about the terminal is the design of its back, with a multilayer coating made up of various shades. By not having a physical fingerprint sensor, the device uses a software-based facial recognition system.
Android Go on simple hardware
So is. The Neffos A5 has Android Go version 9.0. This version of Android is designed for phones with restrained specs, with apps specifically designed to run optimally. In fact, the phone consists of a quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731E processor and 1 GB of RAM, along with 16 GB of internal storage and the possibility of expanding its memory up to 128 GB micro SD cards through.
For battery charging, the Neffos A5 has a micro USB port. Its battery has a capacity of 3,050 mAh, a sufficient amount if we take into account the size of the screen and its specifications. Neffos promises to provide up to 6 hours of continuous video playback and up to 294 hours of sleep on a single charge.
Cameras without too many pretenses
We can expect little from the photographic section of a mobile of less than 70 euros. The phone uses two 5 and 2 megapixel cameras on the back and front. The manufacturer has not provided further details about the specifications or the built-in camera modes. The only thing we know at the moment is that its front camera has face unlock through Artificial Intelligence.
Price and availability of the Neffos A5 in Spain
We come to the most interesting point of the Neffos A5, its price. The Neffos A5 will be available in Spain in various colors (emerald green, monet or dark gray) at a promotional price of about 69 euros. Subsequently its price will be 80 euros (79 euros to be more exact.
