The Asian company Xiaomi will carry out a presentation on August 13 in which it has already been confirmed that MIUI 7, the new version of the MIUI interface, will be presented. But, at the same time, the new Redmi Note 2 is also expected to be presented, a mid-range smartphone that could completely break this market segment. On this occasion, what we bring are some filtered photographs of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 that show us part of the appearance of its front panel and part of the appearance of the box in which it will be distributed at its launch.
In the second of the photographs distributed by Twitter user @KJuma you can see what appears to be a list of technical specifications. Among the characteristics that appear in this image we can distinguish data such as the name of the device (Redmi Note 2), the version of the operating system (Android 5.0.2 Lollipop), the clock speed of the processor (2 GHz), the capacity of the RAM memory (2 GigaBytes) and internal storage space (16 GigaBytes, of which 10.82 GigaBytes are available to the user). The internal storage capacity, by the way, does not seem to be expandable by means of an external memory card.
But those are not the only features that are known right now about the new redmi Note 2 of Xiaomi. If we look at the information they have from international media as PhoneArena.com, we see that all leaks suggest that the redmi Note 2 will be available in two versions: a version with a processor Snapdragon 615 with eight cores, and another version with a processor MediaTek of eight cores (MT6795) running at 2GHz, which is the version that has just staged these photographs filtered.
Moreover, rumored this new mobile Xiaomi also incorporate a screen of 5.5 inches with 1,920 x 1,080 pixel resolution, a main camera of 13 megapixels, a front camera of five megapixel, a battery of 3,100 mAh a thickness of 8.05 mm and a weight of 159 grams. In the case of a mobile of these characteristics, it should not surprise us to know that the Redmi Note 2 housing will be built entirely in plastic, and the design does not seem to be one of its advertising claims.
But what is causing the media to be giving so much coverage to a mobile of these characteristics? It turns out that, if the rumors that have appeared so far are true, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 will cost between 100 and 150 euros at launch. This means that we would be talking about a demolition price compared to the mid-range mobiles that have just been presented in Europe, even taking into account the increase in the price that would mean importing the Redmi Note 2 from European territory.
