The new Mi establishment that opened its doors today is located in the Gran Vía 2 shopping center, right at Local B32-33. With an area of 224 square meters, the store will be able to buy the most cutting-edge smartphones from the emerging manufacturer.
The inauguration was chaired by Xiaomi Senior Vice President, Wang Xiang, together with Mr. Lui, Xiaomi Global Sales Director and Mr. Víctor Planas, CEO of Balmore-Atlantic.
Those responsible for the firm are proud to open another physical store here. In fact, more than 600 people have queued to enter the establishment since seven in the morning.

Xiaomi's new Mi store is located in the Gran Vía 2 shopping center, at Local B32-33. The establishment's hours are from 9.30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday to Saturday. It is possible, on the other hand, that at certain times the store may also be open on Sunday.
The store, which is quite spacious, is divided into three areas. In the first, which is the main one, we can find the entire range of Xiaomi products. There are the main mobiles that the firm already has for sale in our country.
The second is a space to experiment with television equipment. And the third, an experience area with home equipment. The establishment has a minimalist style, very similar to the stores that we can already find open in Xanadú and La Vaguada in Madrid. In the main part of the store there is a 205-inch LED screen. In all areas, customers will be served by Xiaomi professionals.
Some of the products that you can find from today in the Barcelona store are the Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus, Mi MIX 2, Mi A1 and other Redmi phones. There are also other products, such as Mi Electric Scooter, Mi Box or Mi Band 2.
Xiaomi Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus, on sale in Barcelona
On the occasion of the opening of the official Mi store in Barcelona, the Xiaomi company has put the new Xiaomi Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus on sale for the first time. Neither of them had yet arrived in Spain. Both devices will be on sale for a time exclusively in Barcelona. But they will soon reach other channels, such as Mi.com and other distribution channels.
The Xiaomi Redmi 5 has a 5.7-inch screen (1440 x 720 pixels), while the Redmi 5 Plus has a 5.99-inch (2160 x 1080 pixels). Both have an 18: 9 screen format, more suitable for playing multimedia content.
The Redmi 5 has at its heart a 1.8 Ghz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor. While the Redmi 5 Plus enjoys a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625. In the two cases different versions and capacities are presented.
The two teams include a 12 megapixel camera, f / 2.2 aperture, PDAF and LED flash. The front includes a second 5 megapixel camera with LED flash. There are, on the other hand, important differences in the battery section. Because the Redmi 5 includes a 3,300 milliamp battery. The Redmi 5 Plus, on the other hand, has one of 4,000.
The Xiaomi Redmi 5 will cost 130 euros in its basic version of 2 GB of RAM + 16 GB of storage. Instead, the 3 GB + 32 GB model and 160 euros. Those who prefer to get the Plus version will have to reserve 180 euros for the 3 GB + 32 GB version and 200 euros for the 4 GB + 64 GB version.
