The Chinese mobile phone brand Meizu intends to launch a new terminal this year, the new Meizu M8 Lite. Thanks to a leak published in the specialized medium Slashleaks we can take a close look at its possible main characteristics. This terminal could be the next that the Asian company could put on sale after its June 2018 terminal, the Meizu M8c, a terminal with low-end features. What do we know, at the moment, about the new Meizu M8 Lite? The data has been rescued from the Chinese certifying entity TENAA, an organization through which all the terminals in the country have to pass before they can go on sale.
Meizu M8 Lite, a terminal with 3 GB of RAM
No data has appeared about the screen or the general design of the terminal, so we will go directly to the interior of the device. We will have a quad-core processor with a clock speed of 1.3 GHz accompanied by a remarkable 3 GB RAM. Its internal storage will go to 32 GB although we can increase it thanks to the insertion of a microSD card of up to 128 GB. As for the photographic section, the Meizu M8 Lite runs out of double main camera. We have a 13 megapixel rear sensor and a 5 megapixel selfie camera, figures that place this terminal in the section of the starting range.
As for the operating system that this Meizu M8 Lite will have, it will be Android 8.1 Oreo. We will not have, from the outset, the latest version of Android 9 Pie although we can surely be guaranteed the update to it.
These are all the data that have transcended the next Meizu M8 Lite. Of course, we will have the usual WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and LTE networks connectivity. We will not have FM radio and as for NFC for payments through mobile phones, it remains on hold, although we can venture to say that it will not have it, since it is a feature reserved for higher-end mobiles.
