Apple has launched the fourth beta of iOS 12.3 with some features, which leave us clues about what the final version will be like. The main novelty is the arrival of the new Apple TV application, updated with a new design and a new user interface. We can find new sections for series, movies or television shows. In addition, a new recommendations section based on machine learning has been added, which will suggest content based on user preferences.
The Apple TV app also offers a new "Channels" feature. These are subscription services (CBS All Access, Starz, Showtime, HBO, Nickelodeon, Mubi, Comedy Central Now, The History Channel Vault), to which the user can subscribe within the same app without having to open a separate one. In fact, it is already possible to subscribe to some of these services, something that to date did not allow previous betas.
The new beta of iOS 12.3 is now available to developers and users through the Apple Developer Center. If you have already registered previously, the normal thing is that you will receive a pop-up message on the phone screen for you to proceed to the download via OTA. Since it is still a test version, we advise you to have a little patience and wait for the final version. You could run into bugs, errors and a general system malfunction. In any case, if you want to try it, we recommend that you do not do it on your daily use phone, if not on an old iPhone that you have at home.
At the moment, we do not know when Apple will launch the final version of iOS 12.3. The rate of betas is being quite fast, which indicates that it is very possible that the new version will be ready throughout the month of May. We will be very attentive to inform you promptly.
