Every time we know more details about the next OnePlus phones. Yes, coming. Because it seems that this year the Chinese company will launch up to two different variants of the OnePlus 7; a normal one, and another Pro version. We already know some of the differences between both devices, both in design and in specifications. Different screen, camera settings and more.
We start by talking about design, because here we also find differences. Until now, we have seen a OnePlus mobile with a full screen, with hardly any frames, as well as a sliding camera system. This mechanism would be incorporated in the upper area and would let out a module with the camera for selfies every time we use it. This design belongs to the OnePlus 7 Pro . The basic model will not have this retractable camera system, but will come with a 'drop-type' notch and a design very similar to the OnePlus 6T. The rear of both models will be made of glass, although the camera module of different configuration. It is expected that in both cases they will have a fingerprint reader on the screen.
Differences in screen and camera
And speaking of the screen, the OnePlus 7 will feature a 6.4-inch panel, possibly with Full HD + resolution and a flat screen. The OnePlus 7 Pro will increase its screen size to 6.64 inches, with a curved panel. This latest model could increase its resolution up to QHD +, although it is not confirmed. Another of the main differences that we will see between both devices is in the camera. Double sensor for the OnePlus 7, with 48 megapixels for the main camera. The second sensor could be a telephoto lens. The Pro model will have a triple main camera. Again, 48 megapixel sensor, a telephoto lens and a third wide-angle sensor. We will likely see a 5G version of the OnePlus 7 Pro as well.
We could also see other differences, such as a higher RAM configuration in the Pro model. Both are expected to arrive with the same processor, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855.
Rumors confirm a release date: May 14. OnePlus has yet to confirm.
