The Chinese company Xiaomi has just announced its new Xiaomi Mi Note 3 terminal, with characteristics quite similar to those of the Xiaomi Mi 6. It should be noted as the main difference the size of the screen, which in the Mi Note 3 is 5.5 inches (compared to the 5.1 inches of the Xiaomi Mi 6).
Technical specifications of the Xiaomi Mi 3
The Xiaomi Mi Note 3 smartphone is designed in aluminum, with a matte texture, and has rounded edges. It has a 5.5-inch screen and Full HD resolution (1080 x 1920 pixels).
Just below the screen we can see the start button, but the fingerprint reader is under the screen glass. At the back is the dual main camera, right in a top corner, next to its flash.
Inside the phone we find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor with nothing more and nothing less than 6 GB of RAM. And also the internal storage options will be at the height of the most demanding: the smartphone can be purchased with 64 GB or 128 GB of capacity.
The main camera of the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 is dual, 12 megapixels, with four-axis image stabilization and flash. In addition, it allows you to obtain the bokeh effect, to highlight a face in the foreground and show the background out of focus.
The secondary camera (front) does not fall short either: 16 megapixels and with beauty mode to obtain good quality selfies. It should also be noted that the camera has a facial recognition system for unlocking the phone.
As for the battery, the phone is equipped with a 3500 mAh battery, which is recharged through the USB Type-C port located at the bottom of the phone.
Finally, it should be mentioned that the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 has NFC (Near Field Communications) technology.
Price and availability
The Xiaomi Mi Note 3 can be purchased in China from September 12 in two colors: blue or black. Internal storage configurations also influence the price.
Considering the change from Chinese yuan to euros, the different purchase options remain as follows:
- Xiaomi Mi Note 3 with 64 GB of storage for 2,500 yuan (about 320 euros).
- The version with 128 GB in black (370 euros).
- The 128GB model in blue will be slightly more expensive: 3,000 yuan (approximately 385 euros).
