EMUI 9.1 reaches eight more Huawei and Honor phones
The latest EMUI update for Honor and Huawei mobiles has already been released for the vast majority of devices of the Chinese brand. To date, only a few phones have EMUI 9.0, the version that precedes the latest stable.
After the last round of updates launched by the manufacturers, both companies have decided to update up to eight additional devices that add to the list of mobile phones compatible with EMUI 9.1.

- Huawei Mate 9
- Huawei Mate 9 Pro
- Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design
- Huawei P10
- Huawei P10 Plus

As for the news of the new version of EMUI, the company lists the following:
- GPU Turbo update to version 3.0. Games now run at a higher FPS rate with greater stability.
- New System on Chip system to reduce power consumption in games by up to 10%
- EROFS system that improves the phone's performance when opening applications and handling read and write operations. The average improvement is 10 and 20% in both tasks.
- Redesign of application icons. In addition, new wallpapers are added, and some applications and sections of the system are redesigned.
- Smart video editor dedicated to editing vlogs to share through social networks. The application has libraries of music, effects and filters, in addition to presets.
- Measurement of objects and people is added in the Camera application on all mobiles with ToF sensors.
How to upgrade to EMUI 9.1
Updating any Huawei or Honor mobile is as simple as referring to the Settings application and clicking on the System section. Then we will select Software update and finally Check for new updates.
