The Motorola company has just launched the update to Android 7.0 Nougat for the Motorola Moto Z Play in Europe. According to the latest information, the data package has come to the fore with the firmware version number NPN25.137-15-2 and is landing for all those who have any of these devices and reside in any of the countries of the Old Continent, among which is logically Spain. The update, which in the United States will not arrive until next March, will land on our computers via FOTA (Firmware Over The Air), which means that we will not need cables to install it. If you have aMotorola Moto Z Play you can now prepare your device. The data package that will allow you to enjoy all the advantages of Nougat is almost up.
Do you already know what improvements the update to Android 7.0 Nougat brings ? The version incorporates, as a novelty, the famous multi-window mode, which was already available on some Samsung devices, but which will now work on all Android phones natively (as long as they have Android 7.0 or higher versions). In this way, users can manage up to two windows or applications on the same screen, which will be great if we use our phone to work. But this is not all. Improves the notification system, the configuration section and the settings. Increase efficiencywhen running and installing applications and potential is added in the graphic section, through Vulkan. Being via FOTA, it would be interesting if you had the terminal well prepared for the time of the update. All you have to do is the following:
- Charge the battery of your Motorola Moto Z Play to the maximum. It is about the phone not turning off at the least opportune moment, so make sure that, at least, it is at 50% of its capacity.
- Make a backup copy of your most important contents, lest you lose them due to some failure during the update process.
- Check the capacity of the phone, because you will need space to host the update. This one, in addition, promises to be much heavier than a routine update.
- Connect to a WiFi network. You need a stable connection to download such a large data packet, so make sure you are connected to whatever WiFi you have on hand.
