Lenovo is starting to roll out the Android 8 update on the Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus. The Moto G5 and G5 Plus came standard with Android 7 Nougat, a version that has already become somewhat obsolete after the launch of Android 8 and Android 9 Pie, the latest version of the system. As we say, users in Mexico, India or Brazil are already starting to receive notifications on their devices to update to Oreo. Prepare your Moto G5 to receive Oreo
We recommend, as always, that when you see the notification on your Moto G5 or Moto G5 Plus you update in a place with a stable and secure connection. Avoid doing it on sites with open and public WiFis or with your own data connection. Also, try to have more than half the battery charge at the time of the update. Never update if your device is low on autonomy or is not more than 50% battery. During the process, be patient and wait for all the steps to be completed.
