The arrival of this version has been a long wait. So much so that we are just a month away from the final release of Android 9. However, there are not a few brands that are still updating their devices to Android 8.

The version of Android in question weighs 1.6 GB and has this code V20c-JUL-06-2018, a series of digits and letters that can change depending on the model and when it is released. That is, if the update arrives in Spain in August, it is most likely that this reference will change. But we will see later.
What LG usually does is present the update first in your home country. From there, if all goes well, Android 8 will be deployed to the rest of the LG V20 that the company has distributed throughout the world, including Spain.
According to the changelog or list of changes of the update, nothing more and nothing less than ten new levels have been added for the blue light filter, the possibility of hiding the home touch buttons, new forms of icons, improvements in the design settings, more accurate management of notifications and battery optimization.
When the update is available, you will receive a notification on your LG V20 to warn you that there is a pending download. We recommend choosing a time when you will not receive calls or messages (at night, for example), because during the process you will not be able to use the equipment. Have the battery fully charged and connect to a WiFi network to download the file. Don't forget to make a backup to avoid last minute mishaps.
