China awaits the arrival of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro on March 18, a device that comes with a surprise. The company has revealed that the terminal will include a P2i nanohydrophobic coating. Translated into Spanish, the Note 7 Pro will be able to repel water, dust and any type of liquid. To communicate the news, the company has sent invitations for the launch of the team that contains two papers. One is plain white paper, while the other is P2i waterproof processed paper.
One of the recipients of this invitation did a little test with these papers and poured water on both of them. As expected, the plain paper soaked quickly, whereas the P2i processed paper did not even seep in, the water slipped off completely. This uniform repellent coating can effectively prevent damage caused by corrosion or water. It is also capable of reducing the probability of problems affecting antennas, speakers, buttons, card slots, interfaces, etc. of the telephone. All this without affecting the components of the phone or its conductivity, maintaining the original appearance, touch and function of the product.
The Redmi Note 7 Pro does not include any kind of IP rating for water or dust resistance, but the P2i nano-coating already does this. In addition, the nanolayer of the terminal is not only on the screen, but on the entire chassis. In any case, this protection feature is prepared to prevent water from entering the phone if liquid is spilled on it. We do not know what would happen if it fell into the water or was submerged.
At the moment, this model has been put on sale in India and will be available in China from March 18. We do not know when his arrival in Spain will occur. Of course, starting tomorrow the standard Redmi Note 7 can be purchased from 1:00 p.m. with a discount of 30 euros on the price set by the company. If you are fast and you are interested in this mobile, it can be yours for only 150 euros.
