As time goes! Very recently, on these same pages, we were giving you tips on how to take photos with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, one of the mid-range highlights from last year that we just left behind. And now, in the middle of 2019, we already have news of the future Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 that has just undergone a performance test so that we can see if it really is a worthy successor to the Redmi range, Xiaomi's most modest. The new Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 is scheduled to make its official appearance during the celebration of the next Mobile World Congress event to be held in Barcelona between February 25 and 28. It is also rumored that this could be the first terminal of the brand to come out under the name of Redmi independently.
A mid-range that expects great performance
According to the results in GeekBench, an application that tests your mobile to tell you how, in general, its performance and power, the (Xiaomi) Redmi Note 7 would come with the same processor that we saw in the Xiaomi Mi A2, a Snapdragon 660 with no less than 6 GB of RAM. The previous model in the range, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 included a Snapdragon 636 processor so we would have in this terminal a substantial improvement in performance and power. At the moment, the internal storage that this mobile will have has not yet been revealed. Of course, as soon as we turn it on and start it we will see that it comes with Android 9 Pie pre-installed (latest version of Google's operating system).
The result of the performance test in GeekBench of this Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 is 1462 with a single core and 4556 with multiple cores. In addition, according to the latest rumors that have appeared in the press regarding this new mid-range, we could have a camera sensor of no less than 48 megapixels. For now, we will have to wait for it to be presented at the next MWC to know everything about this new Xiaomi mid-range, a section of the catalog where the Chinese brand usually gives its chest.
