Xiaomi is scheduled to hold an event tomorrow in China in which it could unveil the new Xiaomi Redmi Note 7. In fact, in the last hours, Lei Jun, CEO of the company, has shown a video in which this model appears from all angles. The manager has few surprises in store for tomorrow. Not only does he teach the design of the terminal, he also talks at length about its resistance, commenting that this has earned him the codename "King Kong". Jun also makes a joke about water resistance.
The new Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 would have a design without hardly any frames on both sides of the panel. Of course, the terminal would not have joined the current fashion of including a perforation on the screen to avoid the notch. The Redmi Note 7 would have a tiny notch in the shape of a drop of water. It would also include a 6.3-inch panel and Full HD + resolution. Inside there would be space for a Snapdragon 660 processor, accompanied by 6 GB of RAM. At the photographic level, there is talk of a 48 megapixel double main sensor, which means that it would be one of the strengths of the terminal.
However, it should be noted that the Snapdragon 660 is only prepared to support cameras with a maximum of 25 megapixels. This means that the recent leaks may have been wrong and it may end up with a larger SoC. Or, simply, that this camera finally corresponds to another model, such as the Redmi Pro 2. We will leave doubts very soon, since tomorrow January 10 is the presentation in China of Xiaomi and its new Redmi range. Regarding the rest of the features, it is also speculated that the Redmi Note 7 includes a 3,900 mAh battery and is governed by Android 9 Pie.
The truth is that what could most attract the attention of this terminal would be its wide resistance to shocks and falls, as well as its photographic section. We will be very vigilant to give you all the official information starting tomorrow.
