For some time now, the batteries in our mobile phones have increased their power considerably. From the 2500 mAh that it had, for example, the battery of the first Samsung Galaxy Note that saw the light of the sun, back in 2011, to the 5,000 mAh of the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, a necessary change given that the screens are more and more larger, higher resolution applications require much more power and processor to run. All this translates into a higher energy expenditure that must be covered by a large battery if we do not want to be charging the mobile every noon.

And the larger the capacity of a battery, the longer it will have to remain charging in the electrical network. For this, fast charging technology has been invented: thanks to the injection of higher amperage we can achieve full charges in a matter of an hour or hour and little. Regardless of whether this new technology can shorten the useful life of the battery (and if so, and taking into account that we change mobile phones every two years, we would have to see if it mattered or not) it is basic since we have it in our terminal. A technology, until now, reserved for the medium and high range but that, very soon, will land in the field of 100-euro mobile phones.
Now, after waiting time, finally an entry range will have fast charging technology. It is the new Xiaomi Redmi 8 A that will be presented on September 25 in India and that, according to quite credible rumors, you can enjoy fast charging through a reversible USB Type C connection. The rumor has been spread by the global vice president of the Chinese brand and Indian CEO, Manu Jain in a post published on his official Twitter account.

Leaked specifications of the new Xiaomi Redmi 8A
In the post we see how Manu Jain holds in his hands what is, apparently, Xiaomi's new entry range, the Redmi A8, with an attractive blue design and a single rear camera. Jain himself would like to point out that the new Redmi A8 will be the first mobile in its price range to incorporate reversible USB Type-C connectivity. These two characteristics would make the Redmi 8A unique by being located in the lower price ranges of the brand's catalog.
This entry-level terminal has already been leaked numerous times before. In the Chinese certifier TENAA we have been able to see its model number M1908C3KE and some of its specifications that we will list below.
- If we stick to the published photograph, this Redmi 8A could lack a fingerprint sensor because we see a rear free of it and we would be surprised to see a fingerprint scanner under the screen. This means that we would have to settle for facial unlocking through the front camera.
- It would have a 6.21-inch screen with a notch in the shape of a drop of water, like the one we have in other Redmi's like the Note 7.
- Inside the terminal we would see an eight-core processor with a clock speed of 2.0 GHz accompanied by no less than 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory.
- As for the cameras, 12 megapixel rear and 8 megapixel selfie.
- The fast charge will come to your 5,000 mAh battery.
- Price is still unknown.
