If you were waiting to get a good mobile with a really reasonable price, today you are in luck. Xiaomi has announced the official launch in Spain of the Xiaomi Redmi 7. It is a highly anticipated device since, as is usual in Xiaomi, it offers an almost unbeatable value for money.

Among the most outstanding features of the Xiaomi Redmi 7 we have a 6.26-inch screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, double rear camera and a large battery. Big screen and nice design

The first thing that catches the attention of the Xiaomi Redmi 7 is its design. We have a curved body on all four sides with a glass finish typical of the highest-end terminals. They are available in three different colors with a gradient design: blue, red and black.

As for the screen, we have a 6.26-inch LCD panel with an HD + resolution and a 19: 9 aspect ratio. That is, we have a notch in the shape of a drop that goes more unnoticed and that has become so fashionable this year.

This panel is also TÜV Rheinland certified. This means that activating the reading mode will provide protection against blue light and reduce the likelihood of eyestrain. To guarantee its durability, Xiaomi has used Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the front.

Snapdragon processor and great battery

Inside the Xiaomi Redmi 7 we find a Snapdragon 632 processor manufactured by Qualcomm. It is a Qualcomm Kyro 250 octa-core CPU chipset, which consists of four performance cores and another four power cores.

This processor is accompanied by 2 or 3 GB of RAM, depending on the version. The amount of internal storage is also variable, with the possibility of choosing between 16, 32 or 64 GB.

As for the photographic section, it is equipped with a rear camera with a 12 megapixel sensor and 1.25 µm pixels. This is accompanied by a second 2 megapixel sensor. For its part, the front camera has an 8 megapixel sensor and supports the use of hand gestures for selfies.

But one of the best features of the new Xiaomi Redmi 7 is undoubtedly its battery. It has a 4,000 milliamp battery and a system that optimizes its consumption, thus achieving, according to Xiaomi, an autonomy of 400 hours on standby.

And in terms of connectivity, the Redmi 7 is equipped with Bluetooth 5.0 and WiFi 802.11n. In addition, it has an infrared sensor, so it can be used as a universal remote control.

Price and availability

The Xiaomi Redmi 7 in its 3GB + 32GB version, will be available in Spain for 160 euros from next April 4. It can be purchased at mi.com, Mi Stores, Alcampo, Carrefour, El Corte Inglés, MediaMarkt, The Phone House and Worten.

For its part, the 2GB + 16GB model can be purchased at a price of 140 euros at mi.com, Mi Stores and The Phone House, starting on April 15.

But if you are interested in the most powerful model, the Xiaomi Redmi 7 3GB + 64GB, you should know that it will arrive at mi.com, Mi Stores, Carrefour and Movistar, starting April 26, at a price of 180 euros.

Redmi Note 7 and Mi Smart Sensor Set

In addition to the launch of the Redmi 7, Xiaomi has also announced today the arrival of the 128 GB Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 on the Spanish market. This device will be available, starting next April 4, for 250 euros in mi.com and Xiaomi stores.

Also, from today the Mi Smart Sensor Set can be purchased at the company's stores at a price of 80 euros.
