The long-awaited renewal of Xiaomi's high-end known as Mi Mix is ​​approaching. The new Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 could carry, according to the latest information in this regard, a sensor manufactured by the Korean brand Samsung of no less than 108 megapixels. This could even be the first terminal on the market to use it. At an event organized by Redmi (from Xiaomi) and called 'Images of the Future' a new 64-megapixel photographic module, the Samsung GW1 Bright, was announced. Along with this information, the intentions of launching the 108-megapixel sensor we referred to were revealed.

Does this mean that this gigantic sensor could be implemented in the new batch of Mi Mix? No, but the Chinese media have not missed the opportunity to speculate on it. If it has been officially announced, the sensor would be integrated into a high-end device and the Mi Mix fully enters this section of the catalog.
The resolution of this sensor, translated into figures, is exorbitant: 12032 x 9024p. Little else was reported about this new sensor, with the event focusing on the new 64 megapixel module. It is expected that, during this month of August, Redmi will present a new terminal in society carrying this new sensor. On the part of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4, it is expected to be made official by the end of the month since it has 3C certification in China. In addition, the Mi Mix 4 will be compatible with the 5G band, which in our country is available thanks to the Vodafone company. Among other leaked features, it is speculated that this terminal could be the first of the brand to carry a quadruple photographic sensor led by Samsung's 64 megapixel GW1 Bright. In addition, there has been a lot of speculation with its selfie camera. If we remember, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 revealed the front camera by sliding a front module that was separated from the body of the mobile. In the case of the Mi Mix 4, apparently, they are going to put this mechanism aside to present what could be the first selfie camera sensor under the screen.
Regarding the processor included, we hope to see the current king of the high-end, the Snapdragon 855 although we could also wait for its successor, not yet presented, the Snapdragon 855 plus, accompanied by between 6 and 8 GB of RAM. In the rest of the features we would have, as it could not be otherwise, functions associated with the high or mid-premium range, such as wireless charging, NFC connectivity for mobile payments, Bluetooth 5.0 and dual-band WiFi.
This new Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 would be presented on August 31, although this figure is only a rumor. Nothing else is known about the final design or the price at which we can get it in our country, if it is available. We will have to keep waiting for new news about it.
