There have been few criticisms that the Xiaomi Mi A3 has left behind. In addition to the obvious shortcomings on the screen that the terminal presents, most of the criticisms towards it were directed to the fact that it did not inherit the characteristics of the Xiaomi CC9, but those of the CC9e. Now a leak through the Russian EEC association lets us see that the device could finally arrive in Europe as a possible Xiaomi Mi A3 Pro with the same characteristics as the latter.
Xiaomi Mi A3 Pro, this will be the older brother of the Mi A3
The news comes like a jug of cold water for the current owners of a Xiaomi Mi A3. As we can see in the image below from the hand of the EEC, the association in charge of certifying mobile devices in Russia, Xiaomi could expand the CC9 beyond its native country to countries such as Spain, Russia and some Latin American territories, as is the case of
As for the characteristics of the supposed Xiaomi Mi A3 Pro, the terminal would inherit all the specifications of the CC9, with aspects such as the 6.39-inch AMOLED screen and Full HD + resolution or the Snapdragon 730 as a processor model. This is accompanied by 6 GB of RAM and a memory configuration that goes from 128 GB to 256.
For the rest, the terminal would maintain some of the characteristics of the current Mi A3, such as the triple camera of 48, 8 and 2 megapixels, the 4,030 mAh battery or the inclusion of Bluetooth in its version 5.0. The main difference with respect to the A3 we would find precisely in the inclusion of the NFC as a connection for mobile payments, in addition to the incorporation of a fast charging system of 18 W. The price, of course, could start from 299 euros, about 50 euros more expensive than the Mi A3 in the official store.
We will have to wait for new leaks to confirm that, indeed, Xiaomi plans to relaunch the CC9 in other countries. For now, everything points to yes, although it is not ruled out that it is limited to a few countries due to the possible canivalization with the Xiaomi Mi 9T, a model that shares much of the characteristics of the CC9. We will have to see its starting price, if it finally ends up reaching Spain and other countries.
