In recent months, different leaks have ensured that Samsung would announce the new Galaxy S10 and S10 + at CES in January, to do the same with its new folding mobile at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Now, a new rumor completely reverses the order. According to new information leaked through the China Weibo social network, the South Korean would unveil the rumored Samsung X at CES in Las Vegas. Therefore, the new generation of the Galaxy S family would leave for the end of February, in full MWC.
This new leak makes a lot more sense. Especially if we take into account that Samsung normally takes advantage of this event for some years to show the world its flagships of the year. Also, if these rumors are true, an announcement in January of the Galaxy X would mean that it could be available for purchase in February. Previous reports have revealed that the company's supposed folding phone would be a limited edition device. The company is expected to make just 300,000 to 500,000 units. This means that it would not be economical. The terminal could cost around 1,600 euros to change.
At the moment, Samsung has not revealed anything about it. The company is now immersed in the upcoming Galaxy Note 9 phablet, whose official launch date is set for August 9. Rumors agree that this new model would not come with any major design changes. However, there would be obvious improvements in the technical section. The terminal would have more RAM (expected with 8 GB) and up to 512 GB of storage. In addition, it would include a 4,000 mAh battery, as well as a dual variable aperture camera for the photographic section.
On the other hand, it is also possible that on August 9, the South Korean company will present the Gear S4 smartwatch. For its part, the new Galaxy Tab S4 tablet would be made official at IFA 2018 in September. We will be very attentive to future rumors or official information from the company to give you all the details promptly.
