A few weeks after the official presentation of the Samsung Galaxy Alpha took place (in mid- August), rumors began to appear on the network that suggested that the South Korean company Samsung was working on three new mobiles with metal sides. One of these three phones would become the Samsung SM-A500 (trade name to be defined), which as just met could incorporate a primary camera of 13 megapixel camera accompanied by an LED flash that would take pictures with a maximum resolution of 4,128 x 3,096 pixels, something that would partially coincide with the information that was released a few days ago.
This new SM-A500 would arrive on the market accompanied by two other similar mobiles, the SM-A300 (with simpler specifications) and the SM-A700 (with higher-end specifications). In the case of the SM-A500, the latest leaks suggest that this smartphone will feature a screen of 4.8 inches to reach a resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels. Inside we find a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 of four cores that operate at 1.2 GHz clock rate with a memory RAM of two gigabytes. The internal storage capacity will reach 8 GigaBytes (although some sources suggest that it will be 16 GigaBytes), and it remains to be seen if there will be a slot for external microSD memory cards. The battery capacity will be set at a figure close to 2,330 mAh. As can be seen, the new Samsung SM-A500 would not seek to stand out for its characteristics, but its strength would probably be the design.
In addition to all these features, it is also said that the SM-A500 could incorporate the same TouchWiz interface as standard as the one we can find in the recently presented Samsung Galaxy Note 4, although it remains to be seen what news this decision would entail in the new mobile range Galaxy Alpha from Samsung. What is clear is that neither the SM-A500 nor the other two terminals SM-A300 and SM-A500 will incorporate the S-Pen (digital pen) that characterizes the Note range mobiles.
On the other hand, at the moment there are quite a few doubts about what the case of these three new Samsung smartphones will finally be like. On the one hand, there are rumors that the only presence of metal in these terminals will reside on the sides, while other rumors speak that it will be completely metallic mobiles that would seek to turn the Galaxy Alpha into a premium range with metallic materials such as main claim towards customers. We must not forget that today high-end mobiles such as the Samsung Galaxy S5 or the Samsung Galaxy Note 4they continue to be mainly carried out by plastic, although in the case of the Note 4 it should be noted that the sides that surround the terminal are made of metal.
