Although there are already rumors that the Japanese company Sony will not present its new flagship until after MWC 2015, the information about the Sony Xperia Z4 does not cease. This time it is again a performance test that not only confirms the characteristics of the Sony Xperia Z4 that until now had been rumored, but also reveals new data such as that the operating system installed as standard in this mobile will correspond to Android on Android version 5.0.2 Lollipop.
The performance test also notes that the Sony Xperia Z4 is powered by a Qualcomm processor that responds to the MSM8994 numbering. This processor is neither more nor less than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 with eight cores that from the first moment it was planned to incorporate in its interior what will become the successor of the current Sony Xperia Z3. It should be remembered that we are talking about the same processor that could have forced Samsung to have to change its plans with the Samsung Galaxy S6 at the last minute due to, in principle, overheating problems.
Said processor is supported by a memory RAM of 3 gigabytes, and the performance test does not refer to the internal storage capacity of this smartphone. In the case of the Sony Xperia Z3, remember that the internal storage capacity reached 32 GigaBytes (expandable through an external card).
And what this performance test, published by the US website PhoneArena , does not refer to either , are the rumors that point to the possibility that Sony may launch two variants of the Sony Xperia Z4. From the outset it has been rumored that the Sony Xperia Z4 will arrive in two different versions, one for Europe and one for the United States. The US version apparently will come with a screen resolution Quad HD (2,560 x 1,440 pixels), while the European version will come with a screen resolution Full HD with 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. In both cases we would be talking about the same screen size, 5.2 inches.
On the other hand, a recent leak in the form of images revealed what the front panel of the Sony Xperia Z4 could look like. This leak consisted of two photographs that showed the supposed front of the Sony Xperia Z4 in both white and black. This front panel seems to differ slightly from the Sony Xperia Z3, especially if we look at the position of the speakers, which seem to have been moved towards the ends of the panel.
In the event that Sony does not really have planned to present the Sony Xperia Z4 at the MWC 2015 held in March, we will have to wait for the company itself to announce a specific date for the presentation of this smartphone. Presumably, such a presentation will take place at an exclusive event, and therefore it is impossible to predict when it will become a reality.
