The new Sony Xperia Z4 from the Japanese company Sony is getting closer to becoming a reality. The FCC, one of the most important US organizations in terms of electronic device certification, has given the green light to the commercialization of a smartphone model PM-0850-BV that incorporates a version of the operating system with a numbering of 25.0. A.0.33 . Considering that the Android 5.0 Lollipop update of the Sony Xperia Z3 will respond to the numbering of 23.1._._.___ , it seems to be clear that we are talking about a certification of the new Sony Xperia Z4 from Sony.
In itself, this certification does not reveal new technical specifications of this mobile, but it does confirm that the presentation of the Sony Xperia Z4 is imminent. If the information that has been known so far is true, the Sony Xperia Z4 will be presented at the Mobile World Congress 2015 that will take place during the first days of March this year.
On the other hand, one of the novelties that have become known in relation to the technical specifications of the Sony Xperia Z4 points to a new difference between the version of this mobile that will arrive in Europe and the version that will arrive in the United States. Initially it was said that the European version of the Sony Xperia Z4 incorporate a screen of 5.2 inches with 1,920 x 1,080 pixel resolution (Full HD), while the American version would come with a screen of 5.2 inches with 2,560 x 1,440 pixel resolution (Quad HD). But, beyond that, from the American website PhoneArena also point out that there will be two versions of the Sony Xperia Z4 with two different RAM capacities: 4 GigaBytes of RAM in the United States, and 3 GigaBytes of RAM in Europe and Asia.
The rest of the features would remain intact in both versions. Thus, the Sony Xperia Z4 reach all markets with a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 for eight - core technology with 64 - bit running at 2GHz, operating system Android version of Android 5.0 Lollipop, a main camera of 20.7 megapixels, a front camera of five megapixels, a battery of 3400 mAh capacity, certified IP68 improved resistance to water and dust and a total of four colors housing: white, black, blue-purple and gold.
Sony is expected to present its new flagship, the Sony Xperia Z4, at the Mobile World Congress 2015 (MWC 2015) technology event that will be held between the 2nd and 5th of March. It remains to be seen whether the Japanese company will also take advantage of this event to present other novelties such as, for example, a successor for the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact (a Sony Xperia Z4 Compact, perhaps?). Let's hope that the recent rumors about the internal problems of Sony's mobile division do not influence the products that are scheduled to be presented at the next MWC 2015.
